Many people start out looking for cheap baby shower favors because they have the misconception that all baby shower favors not handmade are expensive. I really don’t like the word “cheap” because it sounds like the person hosting the baby shower is not enjoying it one bit and they do not want to spend one cent more than necessary on the baby shower. I know from experience in working with the party planners that is not the case but that sticking to a budget is a worry so how about we rephrase our term to inexpensive baby shower favor ideas.
I think after weddings, baby showers are my most favorite event to attend. As in weddings, everyone is so happy about the new arrivals that it’s such a joy to get together with family and friends and celebrate the baby with the mom to be.

If you already know the sex of the baby, then you can narrow down your favor choices to blue or pink. If you are lucky enough to have time to put the baby shower favors together, then the easiest way to begin is to purchase pink or blue favor boxes or favor bags with a ribbon that matches. Little candies like jelly beans are always nice fillers for the boxes with nuts or mints.
If you don’t have a lot of time to sit and make your baby shower favors yourself, then you’re looking for a fun, affordable gift for the guests to take home with them. Many adorable baby shower favors are really not that expensive.
Candle favors are great party favors for so many events because it’s a practical party favors that your guests will definitely use some time in the future. Candle favors imprinted with a baby and baby power scented or baby bottle candle favors are just too cute for words and are not very expensive.
To get more for your money choose a baby shower favor that serves more than one purpose – for instance, use as a place card holder and also as a picture frame your guests take home with them to use later on to hold baby’s first picture. Photo frames are avaliable in several ways and the prices are low enough that you are sure to find one to suit your needs .
People think personalized baby shower favors are expensive but they really are not. . You do have to purchase a certain number since the favor is personalized with the Mom’s name, but overall quite the buy . My favorites are hand creams and bath gels. These favors are just the right size to put in your bag when traveling.
